My seventh full-length album, Chasing Rainbows, is dedicated to all those who keep pursuing their dreams despite all “the real world” throws at them by way of discouragement. It is especially dedicated to creators, be they songwriters, artists, writers, visual media makers, inventors, or anyone else who goes from conceiving an idea “out of thin air” to bringing that conception to life to sharing it with “the world” (or at least their world).

With the exception of the title song, a retro-flavored number I wrote expressly for the album while the album had another working title, the album largely collects the original song singles I’ve released since my previous album, Thinking with My Heart. Beyond remastering the existing recordings for a smoother album-listening experience, there are two exceptions: The “album version” of “When You Know” makes a one-word lyric change from the single’s version to address something that was bugging me grammatically. The album’s version of “Invisible Man” is an entirely new recording of that song, though it uses some of the underlying elements from the single’s musical arrangement.
