From the single Cuddling on Christmas Eve
Oh, the neighborhood’s lit up with Christmas lights
Painting rainbows on the new-fallen snow
The kids are tucked in, and here we are again
Stealing a kiss under the mistletoe
We’ve been bustling like elves who pack Santa’s sleigh
Then round up the flying reindeer to send them on their way
But there’s a glowing log in the fireplace
And a loveseat that’s calling our names
A couple of eggnogs mixed up and ready to go
And two arms waiting to hold you again
There’s still lots to do, but for a minute or two
Maybe we could have a short reprieve
Let’s snuggle up together, ’cause there’s nothing better
Than cuddling on Christmas Eve
Oh, the time will soon come to play Santa Claus
Spread the presents out under the tree
There’ll be stockings to fill, we’ll have the cookies and milk
Once we’re sure that the kids are asleep
We’ve been going non-stop, but it’ll all be worthwhile
When opening Christmas presents turns into children’s smiles
But now there’s a glowing log in the fireplace
And a loveseat that’s calling our names
A couple of eggnogs mixed up and ready to go
And two arms waiting to hold you again
There’s still lots to do, but for a minute or two
Maybe we could have a short reprieve
Let’s snuggle up together, ’cause there’s nothing better
Than cuddling on Christmas Eve
There’s still lots to do, but for a minute or two
Maybe we could have a short reprieve
Let’s snuggle up together, ’cause there’s nothing better
Than cuddling on Christmas Eve
Cuddling on Christmas Eve
Let’s start cuddling this Christmas Eve
