Back in 2006, I put out That Time of Year, a four-song EP of original Christmas songs. While the songs have held up well over the 18 years since, my early production techniques haven’t fared as well. I’ve been considering remaking or remixing the EP for a few years now, and this year I finally did it. While all the vocals, and a few of the instrumental tracks came from those original recordings, most of the instrumental tracks have been upgraded, and all those recordings have been remixed.

Since then, though, I also wrote a newer (2021) Christmas song called “Cuddling on Christmas Eve”, which I’d released as a single. I’m including a remastered version of that recording of the song on the new EP, but I’ve also done an extensive remix, without the orchestral tracks, to better fit the style of the original EP’s four tracks. To round things out, I’m also including a remastered version of my 2021 cover of the traditional carol, “O Come, All Ye Faithful”.
