Rick’s recording of "Help Us Understand" was played on the air on Hope FM, Esperance, Western Australia during October 2001.

Song Performed at Benefit

In April 2001, Brandi Ward, a young country singer from Scottsville, Kentucky, performed the Nancy Albers/Rick Paul song “Little Child Lost” to a crowd of 1797 bikers at the Bikers 4 Kids benefit in Arp, Texas. Brandi also performed the song at additional Bikers 4 Kids benefits in Arkansas and Missouri during Summer 2001.

Wayne Nelson, current lead vocalist for the Little River Band, and lead singer on the classic LRB hits “Night Owls” and “Take It Easy on Me”, recorded the Nancy Albers/Rick Paul song “Little Child Lost” during Summer 2000 on behalf of the Child Alert Foundation.

The Rick Paul/Vic Michener song “Portadown Rain” was named “Song of the Day” for January 26, 2000 by the music industry networking organization Just Plain Folks.

Norwegian Country Cut

Norwegian country singer Jon Kolden’s debut album, Forever, Me and You, which includes the Kent Newsome/Rick Paul song "Loser’s Rodeo", was released in December 1999.

Christmas Cut and Airplay

Lana Kress, a country singer from Portland, Oregon, released Rick’s song, "It Started in a Manger" on her debut album, Be Careful What You Wish For in November 1999. The track received seasonal airplay in the Pacific Northwest.
